My Story...
I was having my morning coffee and trying to find a break from my racing thoughts - but it wasn't working. My current business had stopped growing, my health was tanking and I was feeling like I was at the end of a rope. Through tears, I choked out a desperate cry to God for help. What happened next changed my life forever.
I literally heard the Holy Spirit say: “Gail, WAKE UP!” (No, I was NOT used to hearing the Lord speak to me at this point and I was in stunned!)
HE continued, “STOP living the world's way of being constantly distracted, worried, and addicted to being busy. You are actually creating this anxiety. STOP! I have an AMAZING life planned for you." (And then in a soft, sad whisper),
"You're missing it!"
WHOA.
I sat up, now really spiritually awake! The Truth of His words were resonating deeply. I felt so sincerely ready to change, but I was scared. So I prayed, "I am ready and willing Lord, but have no idea HOW!!"
God's answer came. I was introduced to a specific morning practice. Over time and adjusting, a beautiful 6 Steps with Jesus - came from the Lord. The goal? To Seek Him First - literally. A practice that invites God into every moment of our life (and business!!). I follow these six steps every morning... and it's changed my everything!!!!!
